From Research to Society: Skills that Shape a Scientist's Journey
Science is a journey that brings together research, writing, project management, and communication. This presentation focuses on how these skills foster collaboration, promote clear understanding, and strengthen the connection between science and society.
Dr. Pınar Arpaçay is a Project Manager at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), specialising in education and training programmes in energy storage. She holds a PhD in Physics from Trinity College Dublin and has interdisciplinary research experience in CO2 conversion, laser spectroscopy, biomedical science, and membrane technology. She also has experience in STEAM education, higher education teaching, and public engagement. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Science Communication. Pınar Arpaçay values making science accessible and believes that science is most powerful when shared.
