Professor Luke O’Neill is a globally recognised Irish biochemist and immunologist, serving as a Professor in the School of Biochemistry and Immunology at Trinity College Dublin. A leading authority on innate immunity and inflammation, he is also a prominent public science communicator and the co-founder of multiple companies developing new treatments for inflammatory diseases. His distinguished career includes earning a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of London and founding the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute at Trinity College Dublin.
