Welcome to the SciFest National Final 2025 website. Every year, the SciFest National Final celebrates the very best in STEM innovation in second-level education and offers the public a chance to engage with inspiring speakers and advocates of STEM. We greatly encourage you to take some time to view the students’ projects and to enjoy the talks presented on the Thursday evening. Student Projects

At the SciFest National Final 2025 award-winning students from the regional SciFest fairs competed for a number of prestigious awards. The final represented the culmination of a year's work for the students. The final also included a competition for the Boston Scientific Medical Devices Grand Award, open to selected winners of the Boston Scientific Medical Devices award at the regional fairs, and a competition for the EirGrid Cleaner Climate Grand Award, open to selected winners of the EirGrid Cleaner Climate Award at the regional fairs. SciFest International STEM Fair (ISF) 2025

Welcome to the first SciFest International STEM Fair (ISF) 2025. We are delighted to be joined by students from the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists in South Africa and the Sri Lanka Science and Engineering Fair as they share their projects online and compete remotely for the inaugural SciFest ISF International Award. This exciting initiative celebrates global collaboration, creativity, and innovation, showing how the spirit of discovery in STEM brings young people together across continents.

SciFest STEM Outreach Video Award 2025 Gallery

The SciFest STEM Outreach Video Award was an opportunity for the SciFest National Finalists to communicate their findings via a 2-minute video. The videos were voted on by members of the public in advance of the national final. Voting took place from 09:00 on Thursday, 13 November, until 17:00 on Thursday, 20 November. The video that gained the most votes received a prize at the 2025 SciFest National Final Awards Ceremony on Friday 21 November. Live Awards Ceremony

The SciFest National Final 2025 Awards Ceremony took place on Friday, 21 November, in the Marino Conference Centre. A total of nineteen special awards were presented to the winners. The ceremony concluded with the announcement of the SciFest STEM Champion 2025. The Awards Ceremony may be viewed at the link below and via YouTube.
